Message from the Founder
I started in the insurance business in the mid-1970s, following in the footsteps my father and grandfather. They were well-respected life insurance men, both of whom worked for Met Life. Since then, my family and I have grown a company of which I’m very proud.
At DBA we believe that living our values brings great personal and professional rewards. We operate only according to the highest levels of integrity. We also work hard to give back to a community that has given us so much by helping out through local charities (Christie Lake Kids is one we’re very involved with right now).
But great service is our first priority, and what really sets us apart is our willingness to go out on a limb for our clients. We’ll advocate for them when their insurance carrier won’t pay; we’ll teach their staff about the fantastic new coverage we’ve negotiated; we’ll even do the dental paperwork for an employee who’s intimidated by such things. Over time, our clients come to trust that we really are looking out for their best interests.
I’m proud of what we’ve built over the years. More than that, I’ve had the pleasure of watching my children grow into the business. I have watched them develop the same qualities of hard work and trustworthiness that I have always considered the foundation of DBA.
